It wasn't just wealth Queen Victoria was given a shih tsu dog taken from the Summer Palace, she called it "Looty", one officer Lord Elgin (related to him of the nicked marbles) referred openly to loot. Rudyard Kipling wrote a poem at the time called "Loot".
